Building Extravaganza

Since Gretchen moved in the project completion rate as increased markedly.
Yesterday we finished the hall cupboard. I had been “working” on this for nearly three months but in little over seven days we relined, repainted, carpeted, and installed new shelves.
And, after talking about it for months, I managed to finally build a cloche for use in our various (planned) vege patches. It is “portable”, which I think is quite neat. I designed as I went, and built it from scratch in half an afternoon, which I’m quite proud of.
However, it also a little half-arsed, which I’m not so proud of. Turns out you do actually need some support along the front to keep the plastic from collapsing in on itself. I had the timber for the rest of it, but had to resort to scraps to finish the front. Gretchen says it is fine how it is, but it doesn’t conform to my traditional over-engineered construction style. It might get an “upgrade” soon.
